Stray means never having a long life.

Outdoors in the cities are not appropriate for cats to live in.

We humans tend to think optimistically that stray cats are free, agile, tough. But it's not true. It is just a wish. In that way, people try to protect their conscience and relieve themselves from twinge of conscience.

Actually, most of stray cats have a serious disease, such as feline AIDS, feline leukemia, kidney failure, and other infections. Or having a worse physical condition and traumatic experiences by a traffic accident or evil humans. If you take a stray cat to a veterinarian, you will scientifically see how harmed they are.

There is a stray cat grooming in a sunny place. On the other hand, a lot of stray cats are wandering from shadow to shadow not to attract humans. When they can't move with a disease, the municipal government would regard the cat as a culling animal. Their babies as well, even though they are healthy. But I think the problem is a thoughtless feeding rather than the way of the municipal government. As a result of my six years experience of following stray cats, touching with each other, taking photos, and meeting people who feed stray cats, having conversations with them, I consequently think so.

It is generally said that stray cats live for approximately three to four years. But it might not be counted about stillbirths and infant deaths, the death of so many stray cats which died at inconspicuous places.
